Perception System is looking for a Resilient, Empathic & Dynamic Business Development executive to contribute to the growth of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts and closing deals.
Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs
Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
Attending networking events to attract and retain clients
Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to grow business
Collaborating with management on sales goals
Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Support the team with other responsibilities as required
Work Model: Remote (Work From Home) OR On-Premise OR Hybrid
4+ Years Experience
At least 4 years of experience working as a Business Development Executive.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software
Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients
Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour.
Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
Neat, well-groomed appearance.
Great networking skills.
Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
Emboldened by challenges.
Must have an ability to work in as a Team Player.
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or Similar discipline
